Located in Denver Colorado, we are a team of outdoor enthusiasts who hate being cold. This is why we have become experts on Battery Powered Heated Clothing. Outdoor accessibility is our goal. Warmth is our product, and "being prepared" is our gift to those who are in search of something greater.
The name Anseris® is synonymous with "shooting for the stars." It is a goal we each strive for. It is our greatest ambition, and the journey we take to get there. It is what we focus on day in, day out.
Our passion is to help you find your Anseris® and inspire action by making sure you have the right tools for the job.
We started in 2015 when our founder Anthony DeVito had a thought, “F**k the cold and f**k these ugly heated jackets on the market. I want to put a heater in my favorite jacket.”
He launched the idea on a Crowdfunding site called Indiegogo, single handedly raising $38k while working a full time job. And the Torch Coat Heater was born.
Coincidentally at the same time, our other Co-Founder Rob Slate had just sold his AV company in Phoenix. And its true, when one door closes another opens. Rob joined the team and the rest is history.
Changing our name changed everything. It changed our thought process to continuously grow and improve. And not just as a company, but as people and as stewards of our community.
We continue to focus on thoughtfully designed products with the highest quality standards and the highest standard in care for our customers and community.
As local Coloradans, this means acting on our responsibility to protect our planet and to be active in our community.
As we dive into our rebranding efforts we have focused on 3 main pillars: Quality, Community and Sustainability.
Quality: Quality really spans every aspect of the company from the product design to every interaction we have with our customers. We want to be the best, so we only work with the best and we will continuously improve on every aspect. That’s a promise.
Community: We believe community is the foundation of who we are, so we only outsource what we have to and keep everything else local, from designing our products to manufacturing and shipping the final orders.
Sustainability: Our goal is to become the first 100% sustainable Heated Apparel Company in the US. We have transitioned to recycled materials in the packaging, minimalist shipping materials and planting trees to offset our carbon footprint.

Not us. We only outsource what we have to, and keep the rest local. We are pivoting to fully sustainable including our recycled packaging, minimalist designs and planting as many trees as we can.
